Solano County Local Road Safety Plan (LRSP) Update

The County is currently updating the Local Road Safety Plan geared towards improving traffic safety in the unincorporated areas of Solano County. Your input is requested to help make Solano’s roads safer for all roadway users! Participate in a virtual workshop at the project’s website, www.solanocountysaferoads.com to tell us about your traffic safety related concerns on county roadways (click on “Report Concern” at the top of the page).

Once in the virtual workshop, you have the option to draw lines and place pins at intersections or segments of roads where you have a traffic safety concern. As each line and point is placed on the map, it will open a dialogue box where you can type your traffic safety related concern at that particular location.

Example responses could include:

  • Drivers speed at this location
  • Cars don’t stop at a stop sign
  • Area is unsafe for walking or bicycling

Your input is vital to the success of the Local Road Safety Plan!
