MAY IS MENTAL HEALTH MONTH

Solano County Behavioral Health celebrates May as Mental Health Month to raise awareness on the importance of mental health and create opportunities for our community members to learn more about mental health conditions. Our theme this year is "Small Actions, Big Impacts” reminding us that each of us can play a part, no matter how small, in raising mental health awareness and thereby decreasing stigma.

COMING UP:
TWO FREE COMEDY SHOWS ON MAY 24TH
Vallejo JFK Library @ 4pm | Fairfield Civic Center Library @ 6:30pm

Funded by Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), the comedy show by the group, 1 Degree of Separation, shares that “depression has one degree of separation: if you don't suffer, then someone you know does.” The show will end with a panel discussion about mental health challenges and successes from the perspectives of people with lived experience.
