I began my career with Solano County in April 2006 as an Office Assistant II with Health and Social Services, Public Health Nursing and Communicable Disease division. In August 2007, I took a promotion as Accounting Clerk II in the Department of Child Support Service, where I provided financial reporting and audit support for Child Support cases, I grew curiosity for the case managing process and decided to take a turn in my career and became a Child Support Specialist in December 2009, I conducted case assessments and investigations, determine support obligations and assist preparing cases for court hearing and enforce support orders; after, almost nine years on July 2018 I decided to go back to my Accounting roots and took a position at the Sheriff’s Office as an Accounting Technician, where I performed advanced payroll functions. On July 2021 I was promoted to Accounting Supervisor of the Auditor-Controller department where I provided fiscal oversight of the General Accounting division, assist with the review and process of appropriation transfer requests and served as the primary liaison of the division to county departments and outside agencies for general accounting concerns.

As the Clerical Operations Manager under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services, plan, organize and manage the records and warrants, and the civil bureau.

I received an Associate degree in Travel Industry Administration and Marketing in Bogotá-Colombia before moving to the United States in 1996. I currently reside in Dixon with my husband, and my son who recently graduated from the Army.
