Solano County Public Art Application

The Mission of the Solano County Art Program is to:

Connect the Past, Define the Present, and Envision the Future through Art and Architecture.

Public Art programs serve several purposes, including the creation of more visually pleasing public spaces. Public art can add meaning and context; it can enhance understanding of the history of a community; it can engender a sense of pride in the community; and it can serve as a unifying element for a community of diverse people and values. The Solano County Art Program was established to promote arts and culture in Solano County.

Calling all local artists:
The County invites all artists who reside or practice in Solano County to display their artwork in the County Administration Center’s public lobby. Space for temporary public display is available on the main and mezzanine levels. All interested parties are encouraged to complete an application.
