|ABOUT THE NUT TREE AIRPORT |
The famous Nut Tree Airport is a Division of Solano County's General Services Department and lies midway between two of the nation's most vibrant metropolitan regions - San Francisco and Sacramento, California. Located in Vacaville, the Nut Tree Airport boasts a moderate Mediterranean climate with dry, warm summers and moderate winters.
The expanded 4,700 foot runway at Nut Tree Airport accommodates light aircraft to corporate jets. Airport operations, maintenance, hangar and office rentals, along with tie-down services are handled by the Airport's Administration Office.
The Airport's onsite Fixed Base Operators offer fuel sales, flight lessons, pilot training, and aircraft sales, rentals, maintenance and repair (see below).
