*****CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING ANY FURTHER APPLICATIONS*****
WE WILL BEGIN ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AS NEEDED IN THE FUTURE

Thank you for your interest in the SAVE Volunteer Program

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to volunteer your time working with a progressive law enforcement agency in Solano County?  The Solano County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce that we are currently accepting applications for people interested in volunteering their valuable time supporting operations in our department.  In keeping with community partnerships, we are opening our doors to the “Sheriff’s Active Volunteer Experience.”  This dynamic group of volunteers will be utilized throughout the Sheriff’s Office to assist our staff with a wide variety of jobs and assignments.  Areas you may be assigned to include, but are not limited to, Custody Division, Patrol Division, Investigations Bureau, Court Services, Dispatch Bureau, Marine Patrol, and Public Relations. There will be lots of room for flexibility in the hours you volunteer to work; however, we do require that you volunteer at least 16 hours of service every month.  Print off the attached volunteer program application, fill it out completely and mail it back to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, 530 Union Avenue, Suite #100, Fairfield CA 94533, attn: Sgt. Walt Gilliam.  Applicants for this position must pass a complete background check.  Those who qualify will be notified by mail or phone. If you have any questions concerning this program, please contact Sgt. Walt Gilliam at (707) 421-7507.
