If a microchip is detected, the owner may be located and reunited with the pet. When compared to traditional pet locating methods, a microchip can reduce or even avoid time-consuming and often unyielding search efforts and costly shelter stays for your pet. A change in pet ownership information can be updated in the national database too! MICROCHIP your pet as a part of your responsible pet ownership plan!! To implant and register a microchip: $20.00 To transfer a microchip registration only: Cost depends on the chip manufacturer; please call or come to Animal Care Services for more information. (The microchip registration portion requires payment by a separate check, money order, or credit card. No cash, no exceptions!) LOW COST SPAY-NEUTER CLINIC To schedule a spay or neuter procedure, come to the office during shelter hours with payment and copies of current vaccinations.
