Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council subcommittee meets April 13 via Zoom

SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council (JJCC) Subcommittee meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 starting at 1:30 p.m. via the Zoom platform.

APRIL 13 MEETING DETAILS
The agenda for the April 13, 2021 meeting includes of a discussion related to the plan for naming the County Realignment Program, and a recommendation to approve the Juvenile Justice County Realignment Plan as written or modified, and forward to the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council for review, input, and approval.

ABOUT THE JUVENILE JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL
On November 19, 2020, the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council established a subcommittee (the “JJCC Subcommittee”) to develop a plan describing the facilities, programs, placements, services, supervision and reentry strategies that are needed to provide appropriate rehabilitation and supervision services for the realignment target population identified in Senate Bill 823 [Juvenile justice realignment: Office of Youth and Community Restoration].  The JJCC Subcommittee is necessary for the County to be eligible for Juvenile Justice Realignment Block Grant program funding identified in Section 1991 of the Welfare and Institutions Code.
