Cost Share Program
Cost Share Program
The Solano County WMA oversees a cost-share program to help landowners and land managers control the spread of noxious weeds in Solano County. We are accepting applications through March 31, 2005 on a first come first serve basis. Participants will receive cost reimbursement for 50% of the herbicide used per acre multiplied by the number of acres treated, not to exceed $500.00. In the past three years we have focused the cost share on the control of thistles, this year we have added perennial Pepperweed to the program. The application is online. It should be printed, filled out completely with a detailed map, and submitted to the Solano County Agriculture Department, attn: Dave Singh, by March 31, 2005.
