Medi-Cal provides no-cost or low-cost health insurance for adults who are aged; or for families with children or in a long-term facility; for children who are under 21 years of age; or for families with children who receive CalWORKs and /or are deprived of support or care because at least one of their parents is unemployed or underemployed, absent, deceased, or incapacitated. If someone does not apply in the month of the medical emergency, they may apply for a special Solano county residual Medical Program (CRMP). For more information about program eligibility and scope of benefit coverage visit Solano County Residual Medical Program (CRMP) which will pay for certain medical bills in the past month prior to your CMSP application. If you qualify for this program and will only pay medical providers who have an agreement with Solano County. |
