Free informational workshop for employers and payroll professionals in child support services

SOLANO COUNTY – The Departments of Child Support Services (DCSS) for the Counties of Solano, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara invite employers and payroll professional who want to learn more about their pivotal role in child support services to attend a complementary workshop on Wednesday, August 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the California Endowment Center, 1111 Broadway, 7th floor in Oakland.

The free workshop will feature a range of topics, including:

- Processing Income Withholding Orders (IWO)
- National Medical Support Notice (NMSN)
- Bonus and Lump Sum reporting
- New Hire reporting and updating information
- Remitting payments

DCSS officials will be available to answer questions during and after the workshop.  Attendees will receive a complementary resource guide and thumb drive containing all materials discussed.
