Solano County ROV informs State Assembly District 14 voters of omission in Voter Information Guide

October 6, 2020

SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County ROV discovered an omission in the Voter Information Guide for State Assembly District 14 voters.  The voter guide was missing either the candidate statements for Tim Grayson, or Janell Elizabeth Proctor.

“We discovered the omission Tuesday mid-day and immediately got to work informing voters of the issue,” said Tim Flanagan, Solano County Chief Information Officer and Registrar of Voters.

An estimated 70,600 voter guides were impacted.  Approximately 33,500 voters were informed via e-mail on Tuesday evening and were provided copies of the corrected pages.  The Registrar also will be mailing correction copies to all 70,600 voters as soon as they are ready.  The correction will be mailed at no cost to the county.  While the County regrets this inconvenience, it is important to note, there are 195 different variations of the voter guides in Solano County for the November 3, 2020 election.  Voters can download the corrected voter information guide on the ROV website,

“It’s imperative that voters know that the information on the official ballot is correct.” says Flanagan.  “If voters believe there is incorrect information in their Voter Guides or have an issue with their ballots, we ask them to contact us right away.”

In-Person Early voting can take place at the Registrar of Voter’s office, located at 675 Texas St, Suite 2600, in Fairfield.  Ballots can be dropped off at over 16 locations throughout the county.  Details on voting options and key election dates are available on the ROV website
