Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission meets Mar. 1

SOLANO COUNTY – The Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission (JJDPC) meeting will be held on Wed., March 1 starting at 3 p.m. at the County Administration Center, 675 Texas St., Fairfield in Conference Room 6003.

The meeting agenda includes an update from Probation on the Juvenile Detention Facility (JDF), a discussion on the status of the JDF Exit Survey, fund raising, tax shelter and virtual phone for JJDPC.  The meeting will also include a vote on the newly vacated Co-Chair and commissioner positions and a discussion and possible vote on a resource guide/referral system for youth released from JDF.

The mission of the JJDPC is to inquire into the administration of juvenile justice in Solano County.  The overall objective is to reduce the recidivism rate of juvenile offenders in the local criminal justice system.

The Solano County JJDPC was established by the Solano County Board of Supervisors under authority of California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 233.
