Tina De Leon

Tina de Leon joined the Office of Emergency Services team in August 2023 as the Assistant Emergency Services Manager. Tina graduated from California State University, East Bay (CSUEB) with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration with a concentration in Law Enforcement and Public Administration. She is one of CSUEB’s 40 Under 40 recipients. She earned an Executive Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University with an emphasis in Law Enforcement and Security.

Tina started her public service career in 2012 with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) as a Public Safety Dispatcher at the Golden Gate Communications Center. She was promoted to CHP Headquarters in 2017 where she remained until 2021. Tina worked in the Professional Training Section overseeing the Recruitment and Explorer Programs, in the Commissioner’s Office managing the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), the Office of Internal Affairs and Golden Gate Division (GGD) managing the Evidence Program and assisted with several of GGD’s Emergency Operations Centers during floods, fires, and civil unrest, and the Research and Planning Section overseeing the Regulated Special Purpose Vehicles Program. In 2021, Tina accepted a position with a workforce development agency, Employment Training Panel, as the Communications and Executive Support Manager, where she worked closely with elected, Senate, and governor-appointed officials.
