Take your child to the dentist as soon as they get their first tooth!

Tooth decay is preventable! Untreated tooth decay can lead to pain and infection which hurts your child when they eat and speak and effects their playing and learning. Help prevent tooth decay by brushing your child’s teeth as soon as they appear. Use a fluoride toothpaste only if your child is 2 years or older. Even if your child can brush their teeth on their own make sure you watch them to ensure they use the correct amount of toothpaste and are brushing effectively. Ask your dentist about a fluoride varnish to help further protect your child’s teeth.
