Parents/Legal Guardians

Custodial Party

Person with whom the child(ren) primarily reside(s) and to whom the other parent owes a duty of child support; may be a parent, other relative or someone else. The custodial parent, who is not the mother or father of the child, may be required to provide legal guardianship documentation when applying for child support services.

Non-custodial Parent

The parent who does not have primary physical custody of the child(ren) and who is responsible to pay child support to the custodial party.
