County Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission meets October 5

SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission (JJDPC) meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the County Administration Center, 675 Texas St. in Conference Room 6003.

The meeting agenda includes a presentation of the Probation and Juvenile Detention Facility Updates, a discussion regarding the inspection of local detention facilities, a vote on the proposed By-Laws as well as a discussion and vote on Ad Hoc committees.

The mission of the JJDPC is to inquire into the administration of juvenile justice in Solano County.  The overall objective is to reduce the recidivism rate of juvenile offenders in the local criminal justice system.

The Solano County JJDPC was established by the Solano County Board of Supervisors under authority of California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 233.
