Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission meets Feb. 3

SOLANO COUNTY – The Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission (JJDPC) meeting will be held on Wed., Feb. 3 from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the County Administration Center, 675 Texas St. in Conference Room 6003.

The commission meeting will feature two presentations, including "Bring your A game," a youth mentorship project for local business owners and “2B Successful,” a youth facilities restorative tutoring program aimed to help juvenile hall students earn their high school diplomas.

The mission of the JJDPC is to inquire into the administration of juvenile justice in Solano County.  The overall objective is to reduce the recidivism rate of juvenile offenders in the local criminal justice system.

The Solano County JJDPC was established by the Solano County Board of Supervisors under authority of California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 233.
