County historical records to be temporarily relocated

SOLANO COUNTY – Starting next month, the Solano County historic records collection will be temporarily relocated to a licensed, insured, and secured warehouse in Point Richmond, CA and historic records generated by the County's Recorder will be relocated to the County Administration Center in Fairfield.  The public may access the collection at its current location, 815 Chadbourne Road, Suite 120 in Fairfield until Oct. 5 under the care of the collection’s volunteers.

The Solano County historic records collection contains documents dating back to the establishment of Solano County government in 1850 and includes County assessment rolls, ledgers and cash journals, voter registrations, marriage license applications, water rights, school land records, subdivision maps, court session case files, newspapers and more.
