Meeting informs unincorporated area residents on issues unique to them

Residents in the unincorporated area can learn about issues of importance to them at a community meeting 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, in the Solano County Events Center, 601 Texas St. in Fairfield.

The organized portion of the interactive meetings features presentations from representatives from Solano County's Department of Resource Management on such topics as the tire amnesty program, used oil recycling, code enforcement, vehicle abatement, and building code changes.  Representatives from the Sheriff’s Office and local fire districts will make presentations.
