August 29, 2020

SOLANO COUNTY – The Solano County Sheriff’s Office, Office of Emergency Services, in coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES), have stood up a Local Assistance Center at the Solano Community College campus in Vacaville, located at 2001 North Village Parkway, to support residents impacted by the LNU Lightning Complex fire as part of the ongoing recovery process.

The Local Assistance Center (LAC) will be open starting this Sunday at 9 a.m. (until 5 p.m.), and will operate seven days a week until further notice, serving residents and property owners as a one-stop-shop for local, state and federal recovery resources that may become available.  Available resources include, and are not limited to critical document replacement services, veteran services, agricultural assistance, environmental health services, economic recovery and financial services, motor vehicle services, healthcare and mental health services. For more information call (707) 784-1575 during regular hours of operation.

Residents and property owners seeking in-person assistance at the LAC will be reminded to wear a face covering and practice COVID-19 social distancing best practices.  If you do not have a face covering, one will be provided to you at no cost.

If web-based assistance is preferred, residents and property owners are encouraged to visit the Solano County Virtual Assistance Center at
