2013 - 2014 Influenza Season Statistics

Currently, only deaths in people 64 years old and younger who tested positive for influenza are reportable in California.  Below are the number of influenza-related ICU admissions and deaths that have been reported to Solano County Health and Social Services.

*There are two types of influenza: A and B.  Influenza A can further be subtyped and the two main subtypes of influenza A that have been circulating in humans are H1N1 and H3N2.  However, in some instances, influenza A is not tested further, therefore, it is unknown if it is the H1N1 or H3N2 subtype.
