Consent for Concealed Weapon Licnese

Residents of Solano County may apply to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office for a CCW License.

California citizens are not required to obtain a concealed carry license in order to legally own a firearm, and citizens are not required to obtain a CCW license  in order to carry a firearm on their private property, including any business property they may own.  You should only apply for a concealed carry license if you have a need to protect yourself by carrying a firearm concealed while away from your residence or your business property. 

You may apply by utilizing the documents attached below, or contact the Sheriff's Office CCW Coordinator at (707) 784-7042 during normal business hours to obtain an application by mail.
