Gary Faulkner
Lieutenant - Personnel & Training Manager 
 

Gary Faulkner began working for the Sheriff's Office in 1994 when he was hired as a deputy sheriff. As a deputy, Gary worked patrol, court services, investigations, and also served as the Public Information Officer. In 2002 he was then promoted to the rank of Deputy-Sergeant. As a sergeant he worked many assignments such as administrative sergeant, community policing (COPPS) sergeant, marine patrol sergeant, narcotics (CalMMET) sergeant, patrol sergeant, court services sergeant, and coroner sergeant.

Gary was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in May of 2008 and currently serves as the Chief Deputy Coroner and Personnel and Training Manager.
