Lieutenant Jeff Brackett
Lieutenant Jeffrey Brackett began his career with the Solano County Sheriff’s Office on August 18, 1991 as a Deputy-Sheriff. In addition to being a patrol deputy, he also served as a detective with the Investigations Bureau, was a member of Marine Patrol and served on the Crowd Control Team. He was promoted to the position of Sergeant-Sheriff on January 2, 2005. During his career he has supervised the Field Training Program, Patrol, Transportation Unit, and the Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Unit (COPPS). In January of 2009, he was promoted to the rank of Sheriff-Lieutenant and is assigned as Patrol Lieutenant. In addition to his duties, he also serves as commander of the Mobile Field Force, Bike Patrol, and K-9 team. As Patrol Lieutenant, he assures he will continue his dedication to enhancing the quality of life to everyone that lives, works, and plays in the county of Solano.
