ACCEPTABLE Tire Types (including rims and steel wheels): Passenger, Truck, Bicycle, Motorcycle, Tractor, Tracks, ATV

ELIGIBLE Participants: Any Solano County resident with a valid property address within the cities or County of Solano who has waste tires generated from illegal dumping, stockpiling, use of personal or recreational vehicles, or land management equipment.

INELIGIBLE Participants: Any waste tire generating businesses or waste tire haulers – see Public Resources Code §42954(7).

REGISTRATION: Please complete registration below to validate residency. A voucher will be generated and will contain information regarding your drop-off site and a specific two-week drop-off period that includes two full weekends to provide you flexibility within your own schedule. Your voucher must accompany your tires at the time of drop-off.

**IMPORTANT: The drop-off site WILL NOT provide assistance to off-load your tires. Please plan ahead.

Quantity and Transportation RESTRICTIONS: The maximum number of tires allowed per address are 40 tires/month (One voucher will be generated for every 20 tires). However, Waste Tire Hauling Limits apply in the transportation of your waste tires to the amnesty drop-off site as set forth in Title 14, California Code of Regulations §18461(b)(2) and (3): 

 ·         A single vehicle may haul 1-9 tires to a drop-off site – EXEMPT from providing vehicle information below.

 ·         A single vehicle hauling 10-20 tires REQUIRES an exemption letter from Solano County – please complete vehicle information below. See Public Resources Code §42954(a)(8).
