Solano Public Health officials received test results today (Oct. 22) from the California Department of Public Health Laboratory, that the first-grader who attended Browns Valley Elementary School who died Sunday after showing flu-like symptoms, tested positive for novel H1N1/Swine Flu. The final cause of death is still under investigation and will be determined by the Sheriff/Coroner. "We are extremely saddened and our thoughts go out to the friends and family of this child," said Solano Public Health Officer, Ronald W. Chapman, MD, MPH.
