7th Annual Kids Camp Lake Solano Park

Kids camp is for 35 Kids, Special Needs Children of all ages and children 3 thru 12 years of age. This event is a 2 day educational, ecology, camping and fishing learning event. Day 1 will be full of fun and games and educational projects. We will have refreshments and snacks along with prizes and a barbeque lunch. The evening will include a nature hike, barbeque dinner, sing along hour, music, marshmallow roast by the camp fire and bed time with dreams of catching that monster fish in the morning. Day 2 will start with a breakfast followed by a fishing educational program teaching the kids about the history of fishing up to modern day fishing techniques. We will provide the kids with new fishing gear, tackle and bait to fish in our handicap accessible fishing pond stocked with Bass. Our next step will be to teach the kids how to properly clean the fish to be eaten. We will end the event with a community fish fry using the fresh fish the kids catch and clean. Each child will receive a special gift and award for their participation. Our event is free of charge and all of the items listed and projects will be given to the kids to take home.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED ALONG WITH A $25.00 PER CHILD REFUNDABLE “UPON SIGN IN” DEPOSIT

Sign in is at 8:00 am sharp - registered kids are guaranteed spots
 FOR NO SHOWS DEPOSITS WILL BE FORFITED
