Lake Solano Park: Docent-in-Residence Weekend

Toasting marshmallows.. Canoeing with waterfowl.. Stargazing.. doesn't it all sound wonderful? Come experience it all on a Docent-in-Residence Weekend at Lake Solano Park!

On Docent-in-Residence weekends, Park visitors can enjoy a Lake Solano Docent offering programs all weekend long! This Weekend, Carla Murphy will be camping in the Park to engage visitors in a weekend of discovery:

June 23: Campfire Program, 8:00 PM
June 24: Canoe Tour 8:15 AM
June 24: Nature & History Walk, 11:00 AM
June 24: Stargazing, 8:30 PM
June 25: Roving Docents Cart, 11:00 AM

All of the Docent-in-Residence Weekend programs are free. There are limited spots available to pre-register for the Canoe Tour - register by clicking on the "Canoe Tour" link above. For more information, explore the links above or call the Putah Creek Council office at 530-795-3006. 

Campsite reservations can be made by visiting parkreservations.solanocounty.com, or calling the Lake Solano Nature Center at 530-795-2990. Day use parking at Lake Solano Park is only $6 per vehicle, payable at the day use entrance to the Park, across the street from the Nature Center.
