Kite Festival at Lynch Canyon -- all ages welcome

Bay breezes, grassy hills, and open fields make for ideal kite-flying conditions at Lynch Canyon Open Space Park’s 6th Annual Kite Festival. All ages and ability levels are welcome. The festival is free, and parking is only $5.
WHO
: Solano County Parks and Solano Land Trust

WHAT: 7th Annual Lynch Canyon Kite Festival

WHEN: Event Saturday, April 11th  from 11am to 4pm

Lynch Canyon is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 9am to 5pm

WHERE: Lynch Canyon Open Space Park, 3100 Lynch Road near McGary Road, between the American Canyon/Hiddenbrooke and Red Top Road exits off I-80 (map at http://goo.gl/maps/sw9kc ).

WHY: To fly kites and to picnic

DETAILS: Bring your own kite, food, water. Festival is free; parking is $5 per vehicle. No pets allowed due to wildlife and free-range cattle ranching.
