Next tour at Lake Solano, “Preparing for Winter on Putah Creek” on November 22
Departments - Resource Management - Parks
Location: Lake Solano County Park
8685 Pleasants Valley Rd, Winters, CA, 95694

Join Lake Solano Rangers and Docents for a free, guided nature walk, "Preparing for Winter on Putah Creek," at Lake Solano Park on Saturday, November 22nd, from 10 AM to noon.

Meet at the Lake Solano Nature Center to begin your walk along the Shoreline Trail with your expert guides. Explore the animals, plants, and humans who have been a part of this area in the past, as well as those who currently co-exist along Putah Creek, and discover how these creatures survive the changes in seasons.

The activities are appropriate for all ages, and families and groups are welcome. Please prepare for the weather and variable conditions by bringing water and wearing sturdy shoes.

Please register at www.putahcreekcouncil.org so we will have an idea of the number of participants. The day's activities are free, and parking is only $5 per vehicle, payable at the east entrance to the Park, on the other side of Pleasants Valley Road. For questions, call Karin Petrites at Putah Creek Council, 530-795-3006.
