Tree and Shrubbery Planting at Lake Solano Park
Departments - Resource Management - Parks
Location: Lake Solano
8685 Pleasants Valley Road, Winters, CA, 95694
Join Putah Creek Council in planting a wide variety of native trees and shrubs along the South bank of Lake Solano. These trees and shrubberies will provide valuable habitat for local wildlife, bank stabilization, and shade for park goers and fishermen. If there is time, we'll also plant native slender sedge to increase foraging material and to improve water efficiency and overall soil health.
  • We provide all the tools and supplies, including gloves.
  • We'll be meeting at 9:30 am and work until noon.
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather in clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes. Don't forget your water bottle!
  • If you are under 18, you MUST bring this completed liability form with a parent's signature.
  • This event will happen rain or shine! PCC will bring ponchos and mud boots if necessary.
